Letterland (4YO Program)
Letterland is a unique and engaging phonics program designed especially for young children. It helps build strong early literacy skills through fun and easy-to-understand stories. These stories make learning interesting and help children remember what they learn for a long time. Letterland is also a multi-sensory program, which means it uses lots of different ways to help children learn. This includes music, movement, songs, art, games, actions, and even pretending to be characters. By using all these different activities, Letterland keeps children engaged and supports many types of learners—whether they learn best by seeing, hearing, doing, or moving. It turns phonics into a fun and exciting adventure for every child.

Little Wombats Program (3YO and 4YO Program)
The Little Wombats Program invites children on a meaningful journey into the rich and diverse world of Aboriginal culture. Delivered through our Seasons of Culture series, each monthly session introduces a new theme that deepens cultural understanding through storytelling, music, dance, and art. Designed to engage and inspire young minds, these interactive experiences foster a sense of curiosity, respect, and empathy. By connecting children with the traditions, languages, and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in fun and age-appropriate ways, the program supports early cultural awareness and builds a foundation for lifelong inclusion and appreciation.

Resilience Project (3YO and 4YO Program)
The Resilience Project is an Australian initiative that delivers evidence-based programs to build resilience, with its Early Years program centred on the three pillars of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. The research indicates that if you practise these three key principles consistently your mental health improves, you feel happier and you are able to cope in challenging situations. Little St Margaret’s introduced The Resilience Project to our curriculum in term 2, supporting our commitment to help children recognise and manage their emotions – an important life skill that contributes to happier and healthier lives.
