OUR COMMITMENT TO CHILD SAFETY

Little St Margaret’s is committed to child safety. We believe that all children have the right to feel safe, happy and empowered. We support and respect children and their engagement in the world around them. As outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, children ‘have the right to be to be protected from being hurt and mistreated, in body or mind (Article 19, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child).

Little St Margaret’s is committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and providing a safe environment for children with varying abilities.

Little St Margaret’s has zero tolerance of child abuse and treats all safety concerns seriously and consistently with our policies and procedures.  Child safety is the responsibility of everyone within the Little St Margaret’s community.
