4 Year Old Program
At Little St. Margaret’s, our 4-year-old kindergarten program is thoughtfully designed to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally rich experience that prepares children for school and beyond. We believe that a warm, supportive environment—combined with intentional teaching and engaging experiences—lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
To ensure each child receives individual attention and a high level of care, our program is divided into two groups—Red Group and Yellow Group—both benefiting from small class sizes and a team of dedicated, experienced educators. These intentionally small groups allow educators to foster deep relationships with each child and tailor learning experiences to their unique interests, strengths, and needs.
Program Schedule (Red and Yellow Groups):
Monday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
Tuesday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Wednesday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
For added flexibility, our Extended Care Program is available Monday to Thursday until 6:00pm and until 5:00pm on Fridays. An early drop-off option is also offered every day from 8:15am, supporting a range of family needs.
Our kindergarten setting, located in a beautiful historic building, offers a welcoming and inspiring learning environment where children feel safe to take risks, build friendships, and explore new ideas. The program includes regular opportunities for the full 4-year-old cohort to come together, encouraging social development, collaboration, and a sense of community.
